Health Minor
The health minor, open to all students, exposes you to current trends and issues in personal and community health, nutrition, and psychology. Students also select 9 semester hours of health-related elective courses from the sciences, family and consumer science, nursing and/or sociology. Students who complete the health minor will be able to describe personal habits and routines for maintaining physical and mental health, describe best practices for promoting community and public health, and build a knowledge base in a particular area of personal or community health. The minor is often paired with majors in public health education, psychology, social work, and kinesiology and health science.
