NPHC Membership Intake

Students who are interested in joining a historically African American fraternity or sorority at Bradley University will participate in the intake process for the individual organization that they are interested in joining.

Each organization conducts membership intake according to their own national and local guidelines, however, these standards vary and intake activities are held at times determined by each organization. Most NPHC organizations require a minimum grade point average and a minimum number of earned college credit hours in order to participate in intake.

Organizations

The Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Inc.

1. Has successfully completed one semester
2. Is a full-time student taking courses leading to his first academic degree
3. Is in good academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of not less than 2.5 on a 4.0 grade point scale
4. Is of good character
5. Is registered to vote, if eligible and qualified
6. Is sponsored by a member in good standing from the chapter in which the candidate is seeking membership
7. Is recommended by a member in good standing from the chapter in which the candidate is seeking membership

The Epsilon Eta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.:

1. High ethical and moral standards
2. Full Time student prior and present term at Bradley University
3. Minimum 2.5 GPA (cumulative and semester)
4. Good standing with the university

The Theta Epsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc:

1. Currently enrolled at Bradley
2. Minimum 2.75 GPA
3. Minimum 24 credit hours completed

The Phi Delta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc:

1. Currently enrolled at Bradley University
2. Minimum 2.5 GPA
3. Minimum 12 credit hours completed
4. Must maintain 2.5 after intake to stay active
