Family and Consumer Sciences
The FCS minor, open to all students, is highly customizable. You learn about consumer issues, then you can tailor the program to your career interests. The FCS department offers four concentrations from which you can choose courses — general FCS; foods, nutrition and dietetics; apparel, textiles and interior design; and child development and family relationships.
Minor Requirements
Required Courses - 3 hrs.
- FCS 300: Consumer Issues In America - 3 hrs.
Elective Courses - 12 hrs.
- At least 9 hours above the 100 level and no fewer than 6 at the 300 level.
