Social Justice Living Learning Community

Live, learn and collaborate with students who share a commitment to social justice! The Social Justice Living Learning Community welcomes students who care about addressing injustice and creating a more equitable world. Find community and belonging with other first-year students as you explore your own social justice goals, make valuable campus connections, and learn how to engage in social change.

  • Individualized mentoring and support
  • Access to LLC-sponsored events such as guest lectures, workshops, film screenings, and networking with LLC-connected faculty and staff
  • Opportunities to learn from social justice activists and organizations on campus and in the community
  • First-year LLC residents enroll together in a special interdisciplinary course, SOC 105: Foundations of Social Justice. The course satisfies multiple graduation requirements.
  • Access to gender-inclusive housing options for LLC residents
