Jazz Studies
The 21-credit Jazz Studies Minor is open to all students, without audition. It will strengthen your understanding and performance of jazz through ensemble participation, music theory, jazz improvisation, jazz composition and arranging, and American music history. This minor is easily paired with majors across campus.

- MUS 272: Jazz Improvisation II - 2 hrs.
- MUS 273: Jazz Composition and Arranging - 2 hrs.
- MUS 383: American Music History - 3 hrs.
- MUS 146/346: Jazz Ensemble/Groove Project - 1 hr.,
or MUS 348: Bradley Jazz Singers - 1 hr.,
or MUS 349: Hilltop Combo - 1 hr.
